Did anyone else see The Academy Awards the other night? I was very impressed with all the glitz and glamour of the celebrities. Sara Jessica Parker was stunning in a Chanel gown and Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez looked beautiful in layered, silver dresses. But I think the stand out of the evening had to be Sandra Bullock in her gold, laced gown. I couldn’t  distinguish between her the actual Oscar himself. Her stylist must have known she was going to be up on the stage holding a gold statue. Perfection. A+ for her stylist.

I love Sandra Bullock and I think she has always been a top actress but her past movies choices were mostly romantic comedies which normally get shunned from nominations at The Academy Awards. Her performance in The Blindside was as magical as her acceptance speech last night where she so was generous to mention her fellow nominees and call Meryl Streep her “lover.”

The only dress that I found a bit obnoxious was Zoe Saldana from Avatar. I felt like the purple was a bit much not to mention the bottom of the dress looked like a fluffy area rug.
