Raniero’s Pizzeria near Northern Kentucky University
I decided to try something new for lunch today. I was tried of all those chain restaurants that I eat at more times than I can count. I tried Raniero’s Pizzeria, the new pizza place that opened a few months ago next to Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY.
I am really impressed. I have been eating pizza all my life and even worked at Chuck E. Cheese (gasp!) and this is really good pizza. It has a thin crust, sweet sauce and it is huge! One pizza could feed your entire family. My slice was bursting out of the to-go box. Oh, did I mention cheap? A huge 16″ is only $16.95 for a speciality with lots of different toppings.
Go check this place out!

I tried this place and it’s pretty awesome. I love being able to buy pizza buy the slice. I was pretty disappointed when they changed their hours. They used to be open til like 2 AM.
Really good pizza but it takes like 20 minutes every time and they charge you 17 bucks for a medium sized pizza. I’ll go to Larosa’s and pay 6 dollars less for 30% more pizza in half the time.
Being from New York i wanted to try a “New York Style Pizza” made in Kentucky. After waiting 25 minutes for a 2 slice Combo, I can honestly say………Go to New York and try the pizza BEFORE you boost of the style of pizza. The only thing they have in common with “New York” is you can buy it by the slice. They can be pricy, You will need to get a line of credit to feed a family of 6. The sauce is bland and the cheese is used lightly. The crust is flavorless and don’t waste your money on the salads or desserts. I give it a thumbs down . If you hungry at 2am, save your money and stomach and have a PB & J.
