Yummy Baked Ziti Recipe
I am not a cook. Repeat, I am not a cook. I burn cookies. I under-cook chicken. However, I can cook some mean ziti that is so simple and sooo good. I bake it for just about every family function and I hope you will do the same. It is sure to be a hit.
What you will need:
1.) Large casserole dish 2.) 1 lb ground beef 3.) 1 small white onion 4.) 1 green pepper 5.) 2 cups of sour cream
6.) 1 lb mozzarela cheese 7.) 16 oz of traditional spaghetti sauce 8.) 1 lb boxed dry ziti
What you need to do:
1. Set your oven temperature to 350 degrees
2. Brown ground beef in large pan
3. Dice onion and green pepper and gradually add to meat to season.
4. Once beef is fully cooked, stir in spaghetti sauce then set aside.
5. In a large pan bring 1 1/2 quarts of water to a boil.
6. Add ziti noodles and boil 11-13 minutes or until fully cooked, drain.
7. In the casserole dish take half of the ziti noodles and place on the bottom.
8. Spread 1 cup of sour cream on top of the noddles then add 1/2 lb of mozz. cheese.

I tried your recipe for baked ziti and it was delicious. I added a can of diced tomatos just to make sure it wasn’t dry. My other half ate three plate fulls so that in itself should speak for this recipe. Thank you for sharing. Wonderful and filling!!!
This recipe is and was the great…i took Connies advice and added a can of diced tomatoes and i also think that the sour cream should be mixed instead of layered…the ziti came out delicious…props Sarah
