Hey Dallas, are you sick of the same old commercial beer?

We have seen the same beers advertised over the years: Miller, Labatt Blue, Budweiser, Corona, Coors, Samuel Adams, Dos Equis. Am I missing any!?!? Sometimes the best brewed beers are the ones that nobody knows about and the best place to get those in the Dallas area is the Meddlesome Moth. They have over 40 draft beers alone along with 75 different bottle beers. One their website, it specifically says “Chances are if you’ve seen it on a commercial, we won’t serve it.” We are talking names like Victory Golden Monkey, Blanche de Bruxelles and Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale. Crocodiles in Dallas?

It is true, there are crocodiles in Dallas and you can see them at Dallas World Aquarium. You don’t have to be as wild and crazy as Steve Irwin to get up close and personal with them. Why is that? Because you can see live feedings of these crocodiles at 11:30 am on Saturdays! What do you get when you mix a drunk driver, a car, and the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport together? A Dukes of Hazard stunt gone wrong! Check out this video of this drunk driver who is approaching a toll booth at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at a dangerous high speed.

The driver was said to be 22-year-old Yasmine Villasana and she only suffered only minor injuries (a broken wrist) and was arrested for a DWI (driving while intoxicated). I hope she has learned her lesson!

Teen Werewolves

With the help of Twilight the fascination of werewolves has reached our youth in a new way. Check out these teens in San Antonio, TX who consider themselves as werewolves. They don’t refer to themselves as a gang but as a wolf pack, a family of kids who help each other out with their problems. I thought Michael J. Fox’s movie Teen wolf was ridiculous but this takes it to a whole new level. Take a look at the video and let me know what you think:

Nintendo classics are cleaning up

Geeksoap has created soap a bars that look exactly like Nintendo game cartridges from the N64, NES, and Gameboy. I think this is a great idea for video game junkies because I remember one of my roommates back in my college days who would play video games so much that he would skip class and not shower for days. If this soap were around back then, I could have done the bait and switch; taking one of the bars of soap and replacing it with one of his video games. Maybe then he would have gotten the hint.

Will Ferrell pitches for Round Rock Express

Will Ferrell is quite the character! He pulled a stunt at a Round Rock Express minor league baseball game in which he came into the game as a relief pitcher named “Rojo Johnson”. Watch this video where he cracks open a beer on the mound and pushes the ball boy away from him. “Rojo Johnson” gets ejected after his first pitch, it is hilarious!

The Texas Motor Speedway president Eddie Gossage is willing to pay a Dallas radio personality $100,000 to change his legal name to TexasMotorSpeedway.com for an entire year. He also has to get a TMS tattoo as well.

I mean, seriously. This is the absolute, best advertising campaign of all time. Not only will this guy be getting press in Dallas for his business but hey, am I not telling you about it now, it is worldwide knowledge now. It makes me really want to go to TexasMotorSpeedway.com.

So whats a guy to do? If I were this DJ I would for sure do it. Pay off your kids college and have a really amazing story to tell the rest of your life.
