Rumors of Red Wings playing at the Palace of Auburn Hills

Well we all know that Joe Louis Arena has seen better days but for the Wings to share the Palace with the Detroit Pistons might hurt their fan base. The Detroit Pistons have a great fan base as well in Auburn Hills and it is still considered one of the “nicer” arenas so it could hurt fans if the Pistons move downtown. Personally, I think that it would be great if the Pistons and the Red Wings were both downtown Detroit. We all know Detroit needs all the help it can get so I think this could be a good investment. The Palace wouldn’t miss out because it would still be opened for music venues so it would still generate some traffic and revenue. I know it would be better for the Wings to play at the Palace then at Ford Field because at Ford Field fans would be to far from the action. What are your thoughts? Do you think it would be a good idea for the Red Wings and Pistons to share an arena? Would it hurt either teams fan base if they were relocated?
