More Live Events in YouTube’s Future?

youtube-logoYouTube has found a new market: live events. Last Sunday U2 held a live concert at the Rosebowl Stadium and for those who didn’t have tickets, they had a nice front row seat right in front of their computer screen. The LA Times is reporting that last Sunday’s show generated 10 million streams across 7 continents. This is by far the biggest event in YouTube history!! The U2 concert has been archived and it has surpassed 1 million views already. Will we see more live events in YouTubes future? With these results, yes, but don’t expect that their won’t be some sort of fee for that live feed.

For those who haven’t seen it, check it out!!!
