Apparently, the Christmas tree isn’t the only “tree” used for celebrating the holiday. Missouri Highway Patrol pulled over a car with two Californian women for speeding. The two women agreed to have the troopers search the car and low and behold they found 20 lbs of marijuana in their luggage and some in boxes wrapped as Christmas gifts. I guess the women thought that they were going to out smart these Highway Patrol troopers but that wasn’t the case. They were both charged with a marijuana-related count and released on a $1,000 bond. What a buzzkill! I guess the recipients will have to enjoy the Christmas lights sober this year. Oh well, it is the thought that counts, right?
