A routine can be a great benefit to a good nights sleep. So it makes sense that there are things you can do to set up a nightly routine to improve your sleep quality.
Create an ideal Sleep Environment
Keep the room at a temperature that is most comfortable to you.
A quiet and dark atmosphere is also a good idea.
Remove electronics from your room like computers and televisions.
Have a comfortable mattress and use pillows that fit your preferences.
Sleep Preparation
Try relaxing before bed by taking a bath or read a book.
Don’t eat 2 to 3 hours before going to bed.
Take 5 to 10 minutes to sit quietly and concentrate on just breathing deeply and clearing your mind.
Remember… A good nights sleep can lead to an even better day.
